My spiritual journey began in 2006 when I joined a psychic development circle. I had been working with the tarot for 7 years by this time and I had a few spiritual experiences during my childhood which resurfaced around the time I came into contact with the tarot. I always felt there was something missing which I could not explain and after going through a difficult period in my life I wanted to know more about the spiritual experiences I had encountered and learn what my place was in the world.
It was through the psychic development circle that I came into contact with Reiki. I initially was attuned to Reiki to heal myself from my own past upsets but I found it gave me so much more. I somehow felt connected to mother earth and felt connected to something far greater than I had ever imagined. Reiki changed my life and I felt a lot more grounded than I had ever felt. I viewed people and problems differently and I now have a deep feeling of peace and a knowledge that everything happens for a reason, even the bad things. The following year I did my Reiki 2. It was at this point I started practising on friends and family. It was the overwhelming knowledge that I could really help people that drove me forward to do the master teacher level. I was at master teacher level for 2 years and then felt drawn to being attuned to Karuna Reiki which is a very powerful healing tool. I found shifts happening in and around me on a physical, emotional and spiritual level.
I want to help others discover what I have and help them with their spiritual journey. I am committed to my life purpose of passing on this knowledge to others and feel deeply blessed that I have had the opportunity to come into contact with Reiki.
Living in Borth makes me feel like I am living close to mother nature with the surrounding mountains along with the sea on my doorstep, I feel I am in a magical environment for discovering more about my spiritual self and for helping others find their own spiritual place.
I am committed to continued professional development and over the last 2 years I have furthered my knowledge by training to be a hypnotherapist. I am accredited with the National Hypnotherapy Society and you can find me on their website of approved therapists. I am currently training to be a counsellor and hope to finish my training at the end of 2019. I am a bereavement volunteer for cruse and have found this work to be extremely rewarding. With the knowledge I have gained over the last few years of my training I am hoping by the end of this year to integrate a lot of my therapies together so that I can help each individual in a unique way.
